How to Cook Quinoa

Materials

  • 1 cup quinoa
  • 2 cups cold water

Instructions

  • Rinse the uncooked quinoa in cold water and drain in a fine mesh sieve. Add the drained quinoa and 2 cups of cold water to a saucepan. 
  • Cover with a lid and bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 12-15 minutes.
  • Drain the cooked quinoa in a sieve, leave to cool slightly then fluff with a fork.

Notes

Cooked quinoa will keep in the fridge in an airtight container for 5 days.
